Installation Guide

 

Fits: 1992–2014 | 2015-2025 –  Ford Econoline / E-Series Vans
Kit Includes: Custom Radius Arms, Weld-On Brackets, I-Beams, FOX 2.0 Shocks, Springs, Leaf Pack or Blocks, and Hardware


⚠️ Before You Begin

  • Read all steps completely before starting.

  • You’ll need welding tools and experience. If you don’t have access to a welder, a local shop can help with the radius arm brackets.

  • Measure and record your stock ride height using blue painter’s tape on the fender lips (ground to fender).

 

🧰 Tools Required

Front:

  • 10mm, 15mm, 18mm, 19mm, 21mm, 30mm sockets

  • 1-1/8″ wrench/socket

  • MIG Welder, grinder with sanding disc, jack + stands

  • Pliers, hammer, sharpie, tape measurer

Rear:

  • 15mm, 18mm, 19mm, 21mm, 24mm sockets/wrenches

  • ¾” socket & wrench for shock


🔩 Front Suspension Installation

1. Disassembly

  • Jack up front of van and secure on jack stands.

  • Remove front wheels (22mm socket).

  • Remove sway bar, tie rods (21mm), brake calipers (21mm), and coil/shock assemblies.

  • Disconnect steering knuckles and I-beams.

  • Remove radius arms and frame brackets.

  • Note: Brake lines do not need to be removed.

2. Radius Arms & I-Beams

  • Assemble Moog bushing kit onto the new radius arms in order (see manual diagram).

  • Reinstall I-beams (passenger side I-beam has a forward-pointing nub).

  • Bolt radius arms and brackets loosely in place to measure before welding.

3. Bracket Position & Welding

  • For 33″ tires, position bracket 10” back from body mount bracket.

  • For 35″ tires, position at 9.5” to 9-3/8”.

  • Clamp bracket to frame and weld only front and bottom edges.

4. Front Reassembly

  • Tighten radius arm and I-beam bolts.

  • Reinstall coil springs, isolators, and FOX 2.0 shocks.

  • Reconnect steering knuckles, tie rods, sway bar.

  • Temporarily align tie rods for steering, but a full professional alignment is required after install.


🔩 Rear Suspension Installation – Blocks & U-Bolts

1. Disassembly

  • Jack up the rear and support with stands.

  • Remove wheels and rear shocks.

2. Lift Block Install

  • Loosen U-bolts on one side only.

  • Lower axle to insert lift block between leaf spring and axle.

  • Align locating pins and install new U-bolts (snug only at first).

  • Repeat on opposite side, then torque U-bolts to 165 ft-lbs.

3. Shock Install & Final Steps

  • Install rear FOX shocks using stock mounts.

  • Reinstall wheels and lower vehicle.

  • Measure ride height and compare to before—you should see a true 5″ lift.

🏁 Final Notes

  • Get a professional alignment immediately after install.

  • Trimming may be necessary to fit 35” tires.

  • Be cautious of brake line routing and suspension movement clearances.
