Pre-Runner Bumper Installation Guide
Fits: 1992–2007 & 2008–2024 E250, E350, E450 Vans
Upgrade your van’s front end with rugged style and clean function using the WTD Pre-Runner Front Bumper. Follow the detailed instructions below to install your bumper safely and correctly.

Step-by-Step Installation
Disassembly
-
Park on Level Ground
Ensure your van is parked on a flat surface for accurate bumper alignment. -
Remove Factory Bumper
Locate and remove the 4x 21mm bolts securing the factory bumper to the frame. Detach any wiring clips using a flathead screwdriver. -
Protect Paint
Apply blue painter’s tape around contact areas to prevent scratches during installation.
Installation

Lift New Bumper into Position
With assistance, hold the bumper to the frame rails and install one bolt per side to loosely secure it. -
Align for Centering
Adjust the bumper left/right to find true center. Finger-tighten all bolts once aligned. -
Lift and Final Secure
Use a floor jack with a wood block and rag to raise the bumper snugly. Fully tighten all 8 bolts using a 3/4″ wrench and socket. -
Install Skid Plate
Line up the skid plate, thread hardware into place, and tighten using a 7/32″ Allen key.

Weight: 120 lbs

Winch Compatibility: Not compatible with winches. If needed, refer to our Tube Winch Bumper.

Receiver Hitch: Not compatible with front receiver hitches.

Fitment on 1992–2007 vans: Bumper will sit further out from the body — see gallery for visuals.
